Currently over 1,000 businesses benefit from APSAD certification for a given application. The certification is delivered following audits, knowledge checks and proof by customers of the services provided. Periodic checks are carried out for it to be maintained.

In the field of extinguisher and electronic safety system installation and maintenance, APSAD is delivered jointly with the NF Service mark awarded by AFNOR Certification.

Only companies holding an APSAD certification are able to deliver declarations of conformity to the APSAD regulations (form N) and periodic checks of reports (form Q).

CNPP is accredited by the COFRAC for its service certification activities under the APSAD mark, based on the NF EN 45011 standard: 1998 (General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems).
