CNPP engineers and technicians have been testing electronic safety equipment on a daily basis for over 30 years now. Our laboratories are COFRAC accredited (see certification No. 1-0064, available at www.cofrac.fr).
This means that the laboratories are equipped with all the facilities required by the European and French standards currently in force (smoke tunnels, combustion chambers, climatic chambers, vibration equipment, anechoic chambers, Faraday cage etc.).
The laboratories work in close collaboration with various notified bodies such as AFNOR Certification and CNPP Certification, and are the benchmark laboratories for the following marks:
- NF-SSI: fire safety, detection and indication, electronic equipment such as detectors, CIE, protection equipments, manual call points, light and sound diffusers etc,
- NF-DAAF: residential smoke detector devices (SAD),
- NF&A2P: malicious act detection and indication, electronic equipment such as control units, movement and intruder detectors, sirens, access control, in compliance with family standards EN50131, EN50133, NF C 48 etc,
- A2P: electronical control device of extinguishing system and manuel call points,
- CE075: CE marking in compliance with EN54 standards,
- CE292: CE marking in compliance with the EN14604 standard,
- A201: CE marking in compliance with EN 12094 standards
Laboratory teams are on hand to answer any questions you may have and to assess your products in compliance with the current standards in force or with other reference documents (non-exhaustive list of standards covered by the laboratories).
Two mutual tests agreements were signed in the fire detection section and in the intrusion section within the EFSG (European Fire and Security Group), with the most important European laboratories and notified bodies (AFNOR Certification, CNPP, VDS, LPC, BRE, DIFT and DELTA), enabling manufacturers to simplify test programs whilst broadening the scope of the assessments obtained
