Technical and scientific services
Aérial view - CNPP
- environmental resistance tests: electromagnetic compatibility, corrosion, incubators, vibratory, alarm-sounding devices,
- physio-chemical and thermal analyses: chromatographs, gas analysers, spectrophotometers,
- maintenance services, new works, administration, security, environment,
- communication: visits, foreign affairs.
240-hectare technical support centre with specialised facilities:
- a safety tower and chamber, exercise grounds,
- 6 emergency vehicles with ladder for fire-fighting and rescue,
- specially-designed structures for large fire extinguishing exercises (200m² trench and 400m² pit-
- several test rooms, including a 25m-high room with a 270m² sliding ceiling,
- explosion zone,
- rainwater reserve,
- waste storage units.

Auditorium
- 190-seat amphitheatre, multimedia and simultaneous translation, meeting rooms- regulation and document monitoring service,

- 120-room hotel ** NN, two restaurants, the “liberté” self-service restaurant and the “La Cressonnière” traditional restaurant,

| - reception rooms, leisure facilities: tennis, volley-ball , petanque, mountain-biking. |
In total, there are around 300 jobs at the CNPP European Security Centre – Vernon, thanks to the CNPP and their partners.
