French Accreditation Committee


French Accreditation Committee 

A non-profit association within the meaning of the 1901 law, created in 1994, recognized as the sole national body for accreditation by the Decree of 19 December 2008 published in the Official Gazette of 26 December 2008.
The structure responsible for the official recognition of the skills of compliance assessment authorities, such as test laboratories, certification authorities (products, services, management systems) and inspection authorities.
Our test laboratories are accredited by COFRAC for some of their activities: accreditation No. 1-0064 (scope available on www.cofrac.fr).
CNPP Entreprise is accredited by COFRAC for its safety assessment activity in facilities storing explosive products [safety studies for facilities storing explosive products (ESIPE)] Accreditation No. 3-232 (scope available on www.cofrac.fr).
CNPP Cert. is accredited by COFRAC for most of its certification activities: accreditation nos. 4-0577, 4-0584 and 5-0547 (scope available on www.cofrac.fr).
