All management systems, regardless of the reference document involved, are designed to control the risks involved in a specific purpose.
 
The quality management system, deployed with reference to ISO 9001, is no exception to this rule, and focuses on two issues in terms of risk assessment :

• The risks of affecting the product or service provided for the customer,
• The risks involved in implementing the process..

 

Process risk assessment :

 
Backed by its experience, CNPP has developed a new risk assessment method dedicated to processes (the PHIM method - Process Hazard Identification and Measurement).
This method can be used with or independently of the DIDERO risk assessment platform.
 
This multi-criteria method provides a framework for :

• Identifying and assessing the risks associated with process functions,
• Defining counter-measures for risk management,
• Planning and monitoring of risk management actions.

 

The audit based on risk management :

 
As with in other areas in which it intervenes, CNPP bases its audit process on risk management :

• Critical analysis of the methodology and of the identified risks,
• Construction and performance of the audit with reference to the risk analysis and counter-measures considered to be managed by the company..

 
Basing audits on the risk management approach greatly enhances and improves their operation.
 
CNPP has and applies all the skills required to carry out audits based on the risk management approach. CNPP auditors are confirmed auditors and practitioners in carrying out risk assessments (quality, safety, security, environmental issues and major hazards).
