Staff

You want your staff skills to be recognized and remarked: certification is a useful response.

 
To be certified, your staff must :
  • Be in operation and demonstrate real professional experience,
  • Pass written and oral tests of a high technical level, 
  • Undertake to respect a code of professional ethics, 
  • Undergo annual monitoring of their work and update their knowledge.
Staff certification is currently awarded by Insurance Experts and Assessors (IEA) involved in damage assessment after a loss.

For general IEA experts,

the certification criteria include initial training, continuing education, experience, personal qualities, independence as well as management and project management capabilities.
  
GENERAL IEA EXPERT
Professional experience
The experience required must contribute to the   development of technical know-how useful for expert assignments in sectors involving   building, construction, civil engineering, appliances and facilities,   immaterial damages and goods.
Training
The expert must have   completed training both initial and continuing to develop his/her skills in   appraisals :
- Law and liabilities,
- Damage prevention and   coverage,
- Property insurance,
- Building, construction and   civil engineering,
- Appliances and facilities,
- Finance.
Personal qualities and skills
The expert must possess the   following personal qualities and skills :
- The ability to clearly   express concepts and ideas, both written and oral,
- The interpersonal skills   essential to the efficiency of the appraisal, such as diplomacy, tact and the   ability to listen,
- The ability to demonstrate   sufficient independence and objectivity to fulfil their responsibility as an   expert,
- The personal   organizational qualities necessary for an effective appraisal,
- The ability to make   assessments based on tangible evidence.
Maintaining skills
The expert must ensure that   his/her knowledge and skills in carrying out appraisals is maintained.
Professional ethics
The expert must apply   professional ethics to his/her own work.

les critères de certification comprennent la formation initiale, la formation continue, l'expérience, les qualités personnelles, l'indépendance et l'aptitude au management et à la conduite de projet.
  
EEA SPECIALITE TRANSPORTS DE MARCHANDISES
Expérience professionnelle
L'expérience requise doit contribuer au développement d'un savoir-faire technique utile à la mission de l'expert dans les domaines du Transports de Marchandises.
Formation
L'expert doit avoir achevé une formation à la fois initiale et continue pour développer ses compétences dans la conduite de l'expertise :
- droit commun et règlementations applicables aux Transports de Marchandises.
- prévention et protection des dommages,
- principes applicables à l'assurance,
- Transports de Marchandises
Qualités et compétences personnelles
L'expert doit posséder les qualités et compétences personnelles suivantes :
- capacité à exprimer clairement des concepts et des idées, aussi bien à l'écrit qu'à l'oral,
