CNPP Group's history

Created in 1956 and recognized as being of public utility in 1961, CNPP Association brings together the general interest activities as well as the support functions of CNPP Group. The majority of the association’s members are insurance companies, members of France Assureurs (FA).

CNPP Entreprise, created in 1988, and CNPP Cert., created in 2013, are subsidiaries of CNPP Association and carry out commercial activities.

Some key dates:

1956: Creation of CNPP Association with the training department, the fire laboratory, and the information department in Champs sur Marne (77)
 

4 janvier 1956, naissance de CNPP

1958: First issue of Face au Risque

1961: Recognition of public utility

1974: CNPP, founding member of CFPA Europe

1977: Creation of the vandalism laboratory

1986: First accreditation of the fire laboratory by RNE

1987: Creation of the security electronics laboratory

1988: Creation of the subsidiary CNPP Entreprise and relocation of the site to Vernon (27)

1997: First COFRAC accreditations

1999: Creation of the CNPP Cert. department and development of regional delegations

2006: 50 years since the creation of CNPP Association

2010: Creation of CNPP Morocco

2013: Creation of the subsidiary CNPP Cert.

2014: ISO 9001 certification for all CNPP France activities

2015: 

  • Creation of CNPP Indian Ocean
  • Revealing of the new CNPP logo

2018: 

  • The CNPP group acquires the company HTS Expert Consulting to create a new entity dedicated to digital risks, CNPP Cybersecurity
  • Launch of the Ambition 2028 strategic plan

2019: Merger of CNPP Morocco and HTS Morocco (previously a subsidiary of CNPP Cybersecurity) to create CNPP Africa and develop the group’s activities throughout the African continent

2021: Unveiling of the group's purpose and its 3 values

2022: Initiated in 2018, the Ambition 2028 project aims to build the CNPP of tomorrow in a changing context rich with opportunities. In 2022, CNPP “boosts” its client proximity through the following actions:

  • Simplification of its offer into 3 activities

  • Creation of a development and client relations department integrating commercial, marketing, and innovation activities, with teams specializing in risk areas.
  • Development of group consulting and training activities to offer a comprehensive service.
  • Investment of 6 million euros in infrastructure and creation of nearly 50 jobs.
