Infrared Thermography

The control of electrical installations using infrared thermography involves measuring the operating temperature of the command, cut-out, protection, and control appliances as well as the various components of an electrical installation in an industrial environment. Abnormal heating due to overloading, short circuits, mini arcing, or bad connections that could cause a fire outbreak can thus be detected.  Excerpt from the Practical guide to malicious acts security
