National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)

Founded in 1896, the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) is an American organization dedicated to eliminating death, injury, property and economic loss due to fires, as well as to electrical hazards and associated risks. The association provides information and knowledge through the publication of codes and standards, some of which are US national standards as well as through research, training, education and awareness-raising activities.
CNPP translates into French and publishes NFPA standards within the framework of a partnership.
