CNPP Corporate Social Responsibility Commitments

CNPP, by its nature—aimed at preventing and reducing risks—and as a public-benefit association, inherently embeds its actions within a CSR framework

This dynamic and ambitious policy enables us to drive strong commitments marked by exemplarity, responsibility, and humility toward all stakeholders.

Our CSR action plan stems from collective workshops designed to improve our overall performance while contributing to sustainable development in the realm of risk prevention and management. Thus, our Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility policy is at the heart of our purpose: « To create an environment of trust for everyone. ».

Below are our commitments for the upcoming three years.

1 - Establish an Environment of Trust with Stakeholders

We commit to conducting our activities and developing our services with active listening to all stakeholders: employees, clients, partners, suppliers, and communities. To foster this environment of trust, we have defined three key areas:

Create a Harmonious and Motivating Work Environment

• Increase employee involvement in company life: surveys, barometers, workshops

• Advance inclusion initiatives: disability policy, gender equity, workplace environment

• Expand employee skills: onboarding and career development pathways

• Encourage staff sports participation through dedicated programs

• Develop an exemplary HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) policy

Listen, Engage, and Maintain Transparency with Local Communities

• Enhance communication with community stakeholders

• Operate on-site activities transparently

Build Long-Term Relationships with Suppliers and Partners

• Implement responsible procurement and business ethics policies

• Demonstrate exemplary payment practices

• Promote local sourcing and circular economy initiatives

2 - Act for Resource Preservation and Climate Change Mitigation

Working in a quality environment also means safeguarding resources and biodiversity. CNPP benefits from a remarkable 240-hectare site with diverse flora and fauna. To preserve this quality environment, we have identified four priorities:

Reduce Environmental Impacts

• Cut atmospheric emissions

• Establish monitoring and reduction of PFAS impacts

• Explore wastewater recovery initiatives

Contribute to Climate Change Mitigation and Energy Transition

• Conduct carbon audits for scopes 1, 2, and 3 and set reduction targets

• Transition fleet to electric vehicles

• Develop renewable solar generation and self-consumption

• Improve energy efficiency

Promote Circular Economy and Waste Recycling

• Implement selective sorting across all CNPP facilities

• Manage recycling of used equipment and furniture

• Reduce paper consumption

Protect Biodiversity

• Assess and monitor our biodiversity assets

• Encourage local biodiversity initiatives and involve employees

• Maintain and enhance our land assets

3 - Promote Risk Prevention and Management with Ethics and Responsibility

We are dedicated to developing and operating ethically and responsibly, supporting companies and communities for better risk control—especially by accelerating climate risk prevention, adapting to climate change effects, and securing ecological transition developments.

To deliver on this, we have established two priority focus areas:

Promote Safety Culture for All Audiences

Safety culture encompasses the knowledge, skills, behaviors, and attitudes shared among all members of an organization to manage risks. It should rely on collective engagement and continuous improvement. Given that risk management is our core business, we embed this focus in all actions that foster safety culture among employees, clients, and stakeholders:

• Act as an exemplary reference actor

• Develop a safety education toolkit and induction plan for all employees

• Support civic safety engagement, such as volunteer firefighter initiatives

• Organize conferences and webinars dedicated to safety culture

Cultivate Adaptation Culture and Drive Transition Policies

Beyond regulatory compliance, climate disruption requires all players to adopt adaptation initiatives and transition economic models. In line with our prevention mission, we are a natural partner to support clients and our ecosystem in addressing these emerging challenges. We will:

• Train all employees on climate adaptation issues

• Offer clients advisory and training solutions to support their transition efforts
