Fire Modeling
Fire modeling is used to demonstrate a level of safety.
It particularly allows for:
- Identifying technical solutions that are alternatives to prescribed solutions.
- Providing decision support or optimizing fire safety measures.
- Finding an alternative to tests when these are not technically or economically feasible.
Modeling is notably used in fire safety engineering.
To go further, CNPP participated in the Flumilog project, a tool designed to model thermal fluxes generated by a warehouse fire.
