What is the National Fire Protection Association?
Founded in 1896, the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) is an American organization dedicated to eliminating death, injury, property, and economic loss due to fire, electrical, and related hazards. The association provides information and knowledge through the publication of codes and standards, some of which are American National Standards, as well as through research, training, education, and outreach activities.
CNPP translates and publishes NFPA standards in French as part of a partnership.
