Video Surveillance / Video Protection
A video surveillance system captures and remotely retransmits images across time and space. It serves as a complementary means to ensure the security of a company. It cannot operate in isolation and must be designed in conjunction with an intrusion detection system, existing mechanical protections, and/or any complementary systems.
Video surveillance has been referred to as "video protection" in regulatory texts since the circular of March 12, 2009, pertaining to the deployment conditions of video protection systems, followed by the decree of June 1, 2010, establishing a personal data processing system named "automated management of authorization requests for installing video protection systems."

CNPP conduct laboratory tests to demonstrate the quality of video surveillance cameras transparently and impartially. These tests are implemented by constantly adapting to new technologies.
Our expert engineers have drafted a technical specification defining the requirements, performance criteria, and test methods related to video surveillance cameras.
Upon completion of the tests, and if the video surveillance camera meets all the requirements defined in the technical specification, CNPP Certified certification is issued.
