Which Automatic Gas Extinguishing Systems Are Covered?

This certification applies to automatic gas extinguishing systems using the following extinguishing agents:
- Inert agents (IG01, IG55, IG100, IG541)
- Inhibitors (FK 5‑1‑12, HFC 227ea, HFC 23)
- CO₂

 

An automatic gas extinguishing system is defined by the combination of:
- One extinguishing agent,
- One storage pressure level,
- A complete chain of components (control system, distribution system, discharge network).

 

Such automatic gas extinguishing systems are used in fixed automatic gas extinguishing installations designed and manufactured in accordance with the APSAD R13 standard.
