The A2P certification is the reference certification ensuring the effectiveness of protection against burglary.
It provides enhanced security for door-sets. The tests carried out in our laboratories are continuously adapted to the new techniques and tools used by burglars.
Which products are covered?
The covered products are complete, inseparable sets (door, frame, pivot mechanism , lock cylinder, key, and lock).
What are the classification levels?
Residential door-sets:
The classification levels provide an appropriate response to the threat (burglar typology, tools, and time)

* The specified times (5, 10, 15 minutes) are resistance times in the laboratory, where the tests are intensive, and do not take into account real burglary constraints (such as noise), which inevitably delay the burglary attempts.
“Technical premises” door-sets:
Classification levels follow the requirements of EN 1627, with four increasing resistance classes (tools/time):
- A2P CR3
- A2P CR4
- A2P CR5
- A2P CR6
How does an A2P‑certified product stand out?
Each product reference is certified individually. Two ways to check a real A2P-certified product:
- Check the marking directly on the product
- Verify that the product reference appears on the official list of A2P-certified products
Do you need to convince your clients?
Since 2021, a complete communication system has been set up (in collaboration with UNIQ, French association of Hardware Industries) to increase awareness among your customers. It includes:
